Three Spring Outfits On A Budget

H&M Blouse, H&M Sweatshirt, Zoella Blissful Mistful Body Mist, Lahaye Brushes, Essie Nail Polish
Have you cleaned out your wardrobe for spring yet? I´ll admit it first: I haven´t. But I´m definitely looking forward to it. Mainly because cleaning out my wardrobe means I get to buy loads of new clothes, right? As a student I don't have a massive budget though. While scrolling through my favourite online shops recently I realized that I definitely won´t be able to fulfill all my wishes unless I robbed a bank (and that´s illegal even if you have a good reason for it). So I´ve set myself a little challenge and tried to create different spring looks based on three different websites within a budget of £80 each.

Collage of Spring Outfit from Asos
Coat £34.99 // Jeans £16.99 // Shirt £12.50 // Trainers £14.99 // Necklace £4

Asos

I fell in love with this long, light coat from the moment I saw it on the first page. With a pair of light blue trousers, a simple white shirt and white trainers there´s nothing that could go wrong. You´d almost expect me to have this exact outfit in my wardrobe but I don´t, so it´s definitely on my list! I also added a choker necklace because I just felt it would go perfectly with the whole style but at the same time add another side to it. This outfit honestly just screams spring for me.

--> comes to £83.47 total (without the necklace £79.47)

Collage of Spring Outfit from Topshop
Pinafore Dress £36.00 // Blouse £26.00 // Tights £4.00 (for one) // Ankle Boots £15.00

Topshop

The pinafore craze is continuing and I´m so in this time. Late last summer this pinafore obsession finally caught up with me but I was too late to find one that suited me. So now I´m super happy this style is coming back for spring. I think a simple, black pinafore dress can be worn so many different ways that it´s the perfect versatile item. Here I´ve paired it with a grey and white blouse, black tights and some simple ankle boots. This look would also work great in autumn but I feel the light blouse adds more of a spring feeling.

--> comes to £81.00 total

Collage of Spring Outfit from Boohoo
Biker Jacket £25.00 // Jeans £20.00 // Shirt £10.00 // Flats £12.00 // Clutch £12.00

Boohoo

I´ve been a lover of biker jackets forever so obviously I feel in love with this suede, pink biker jacket. As I discussed in a recent post I´m finally obsessed with light pink shades and this jacket is no exception. A simple pale, ripped jeans and a ruffle shirt enhance the spring vibe and add this season´s trends. To complete the look I paired it with black suede flats and a black suede clutch. A super cool spring outfit can be as easy as this.

--> comes to £79.00 total

You might have realized that I´m a big fan of blouses and light shirts. I wear those all year around so those pieces would do really well in my wardrobe. As for the shopping experience, keeping to my budget was easiest on Boohoo. They offer such a great selection of stylish pieces which are each a bargain and still great quality. The hardest website to find a full outfit within the budget was Topshop for me. As much as I love all their pieces they can be a bit pricey and you kind of have to make sure you´re not falling in love with the wrong item. Besides of all of this I really liked this challenge though! I´m definitely getting a few of the pieces mentioned here because I´ve fallen head over heels in love!

What´s your fashion staple for this spring? What´s your favourite online shop?

    1. Thank you so much! I´d always put spring and monochrome together, it´s so easy and effortless. Also if you choose at least one piece with more white than black you´ve basically embraced spring!

  3. I love both Asos and BooHoo, I also really like missguided too as they do some pretty good sales but they tend to be better for evening outfits I find. I think I love the Topshop outfit best, wow, just wow.
