October Favorites

It´s already November and as always I can´t believe how fast the time has passed. I had to have a look at my calendars (which I still haven´t changed to November) to make sure "October" was right in the heading. October was a busy month for me. I started uni and am still figuring out how it all works but it´s fun so far (as much fun as studying can be). I didn´t try out many new things but the ones I tried were great.

The Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation was a still unopened buy from London when the month started. I tried it out and I really like it and enjoy wearing it. Though the color 010 Light Porcelain seems to be a bit too light for my face (something which never happens). But I am trying to cover it up with my powder and it works for me. It doesn´t matter which powder I use I always use my Real Techniques Powder Brush to apply it. It´s just the most amazing and the softest brush I have ever tested. It doesn´t feel like applying powder but more like a very soft heaven on my skin.

As  I am a big fan of The Body Shop I own quite a few things by them. I am usually not a fan of Sheabutter scent and I have no idea how the Shea Shower Cream ended up in my stash but I am glad it did. It is soft and foamy on my skin and I have found it offers a lot of nutrition for my skin. The smell reminds me of summer and beach time which I absolutely love. I will get a big one soon! I have already raved about the The Body Shop Mango Hand Cream - full review here - and I can just say again how much I like it for everyday use! I have taken it with me to uni almost everyday this month and that means something.

I think I am the last person to get on on the hype around Invisibobbles. I never wanted to get them as they were too expensive and I had found my hair ties to work just fine. My sister actually got me hooked on them and now I own my own three translucent ones. They are absolutely amazing and hold onto my thick and slippery hair really well. I can even wear them for workouts without having to adjust my ponytail every five minutes. I can´t quite tell if they don´t leave any mark in my hair as I find a small dent sometimes (but I wear them over night, so I was expecting that) but nothing as big as normal hair ties left in my hair.

As I said, it´s not many things this month but they are really good ones. Especially the shower cream and the brush are my absolute favorites and I would repurchase them any time! I have also found out that I hate grocery shopping for my everyday life and cleaning (but who doesn´t?) now that I am not living in Hotel Mom anymore. But apart from that everything is going great.
